This was my first project for Magazine Design. The prompt was to create a two-page spread on anything. I chose to base my design on Paloma Faith, a musical artist from the UK. I started by sketching the pictures of Paloma and the parrot and scanning them into Illustrator. I used watercolor brushes in Photoshop to color in the spread and create the headline, drop cap, and folio.
